OTTO

A compact, versatile and modular bench-table system for outdoor spaces. A school project in collaboration with Vestre.

OTTO was designed in response to how we observed people actually use public furniture. Inspired by the desire for a perfect bench for a casual chat over a cup of coffee, OTTO offers flexible seating solutions tailored to small groups. 



The system adapts to different needs, settings, and seating positions. It saves space and materials, while challenging the classic picnic table archetype with a more dynamic design.

By arranging multiple modules in a constellation, OTTO creates adaptable social zones, allowing more small groups to share a space without feeling like they’re claiming the entire table. The system invites varied use, whether its a quick break, finishing up some homework, or catching up with a friend over coffee, OTTO supports spontaneous use and shared moments throughout the day.
