Kubb begins with a single component—a soft, wooden square that together can be arranged in endless ways. The concealed connections give them a gentle, almost floating quality. The arrangement is guided by hands-on experimentation and continuous adjustments until it simply feels right.
The idea was developed and executed in one day. This way of working was about learning through making, embracing experimentation, and committing to completing a project.
It was a part of the exhibiton Volum in december 2025, Hard Objects / Soft Feelings curated by Anne-Stine Bae.
The candle holder was made in both pine and ash and in two different configurations.
